#1 Introduction to Chain Maille – Silver or Copper Link Bracelet
Learn how to use the jewelers saw to cut perfect jump rings and create a classic bracelet with a hand-crafted fancy hook. This is a very useful skill to be used for all of your jewelry needs.
#2 Byzantine Bracelet
You will weave 16 gauge jump rings to make this BYZANTINE bracelet and fashion a unique closure. A patina finish will give an old world feel to your designer bracelet.
#2 and #3 – Crazy Chain Necklace
Prerequisites: Beginning Workshops parts #1, 2, 3 and personal toolbox.
Part 1: Making Crazy Parts with 20, 18 and 16 gauge wire. Bend, pound, twist, wrap and texture. A spin-off on what you already know, adding new techniques, creating unique one-of-a-kind CRAZY fun!
Part 2: More CRAZY stuff! Laying out your unique parts, you will learn balance, design and aesthetic value. Using your jump rings from chain making #1, you will connect your designer parts, patina and tumble finish this CRAZY necklace. You will be the topic of conversation!
#4 “It’s a Wrap” Cuff Bracelet
This class will be a workout for your hands and wrists! Wrap, wrap and wrap. You will be working with 20, 18, 16 and 14 gauge wire. Sterling Silver or Copper with a couple large beads of your choice will create a bold statement piece and can be worn by anyone who dares.
